“Child Dispute Services: who we are, how we work and why it is important”
Joanna Pettett – Senior Family Consultant
Joanna has been a Social Worker since 2008 and has both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in this field. Her main professional background is in Child Protection where she worked for over 7 years before she transitioned to the Court in 2017. Joanna has been the Senior Family Consultant for CDS Tasmania since March 2019.
Maz Drennan-Marshall – Family Consultant
Maz graduated with a Masters of Social Work in 2012. Her background has been in Child Protection and Family Assessment, and she has worked in Australia and the UK for the past 7 years across statutory and non-statutory organisations. Maz has recently returned to Australia and commenced work with the Court in mid-2019.
June Wright – Family Consultant
June is Registered Psychologist and has been practicing since 2003. Her background is in family and couple therapy, family law counselling and dispute resolution, and trauma informed work including clinical practice, management and supervisory roles. June left the NGO sector in mid-2019 to commence her role as Family Consultant.
The Consultants will make a brief presentation and answer any questions people may have.
A light lunch will be provided and we will link to Staffordshire House, MMT in Burnie and Rae & Partners in Devonport.
